WHAT?

Map Notts is an initiative that aims at bringing together all those involved with the public space in Nottingham. We have focused on encouraging public engagement activities, exchanges and conversations with Carrington, Steinton and West Bridgford. Our exhibition in Nottingham Central Library (March 2009 - January 2010) marked the beginning of a series of collaborative projects all about mapping Nottingham for the public, and by the public.

We have worked closely with local communities as well as stakeholders including Sneinton Alchemy, Carrigton Tenants’ and Residents’ Association and West Bridgford Infant School, alongside volunteers and members of the general public who have very generously contributed their time, expertise, skills and good will.
