This is a conversation guide that we have designed today:
1. Introduce Mapping Nottingham's Identity project with a few examples printed on the cards.
"As you already know, in the next three weeks, group of volunteers from Nottingham Trent University will be working together with Sneinton Alchemy on the project Mapping Nottingham's Identity. We believe that Sneinton's identity can be discovered through the work of various community organisations in the area. Thus, we would like to have a short interview with you, no longer than 30 min, about your activities and motivations. This interview will be used as a direct input for designing a common 'structure' that will stay in Sneinton. This structure could be used during the next Sneinton Festival, or for any activities that you plan to organise throughout the year. Please see a few examples..."
2. What kind of space do you usually use – size, inside/outside...?
3. How many people your activities involve (minimum, maximum)?
4. Who are people who participate in your activities (age, where are they from)?
5. What do you usually do? Make a list of verbs.
6. Which things would you need to organise something you want?
7. Can you give an example of an event/activity that you liked…?
8. Would you like to help in making/transporting the structure?
9. Do you have/know about any material that we can use/find?
10. Inform about presentation of a design and consultation meeting on 20th July, 13h (place to be confirmed). It is extremely important to hear your opinion!
11. Can you give us your contact details so we can keep in touch?
